About Us
Pact is a leading provider of community, vocational and residential services for people with intellectual disabilities, mental health challenges and addictions. Our Head Office team in Dunedin supports operations across Southland, Otago, the West Coast, the Upper South Island and the Lower North Island.
Pact is growing fast, with new services and more demand across several regions. To keep up, we’re looking for a proactive, highly organised and people-focused Workforce Advisor to run end-to-end recruitment and help us bring great people into the organisation. This role is key to ensuring we have the right people on the frontline, providing high-quality support to the people we serve.
Job Description
The Role
This is a compliance-driven role, and getting the detail right matters. Every check, contract and record you handle helps keep the people we support safe and keeps Pact audit ready.
In this role, you’ll be a professional, supportive partner to our leaders. You’ll meet them where they’re at, build their confidence with our processes, and guide them through the ups and downs of hiring and onboarding. Sometimes that means explaining a process once; sometimes it takes 14 times. Either way, we keep showing up with kindness and patience.

Why Join Us?
You’ll join a hardworking, tight-knit Workforce Team that thrives on collaboration, continuous improvement and a good laugh along the way. We take our work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously, so a good sense of humour is very welcome.
You’ll get hands-on experience across recruitment and HR, with plenty of chances to grow your skills and make a real contribution across the organisation.
Please note: you must be available for an in-person interview in Dunedin.
