About the Role

If you’re someone who enjoys a challenge and has experience (professional or lived) supporting people with complex needs, we’d love to hear from you.

The Permi-Flex position would be an excellent fit for someone who loves variety in their work week. With 40 hours per week guaranteed, you will work a variety of day, evening, weekend, awake night and sleepover shifts across our Dunedin Mental Health and Youth services; plus, you will be paid $31.97 per hour. You’ll need to be available to work a variety of different shifts.

In this role, you will:

  • Support people as they set and achieve personal goals
  • Encourage participation in daily life and community activities
  • Provide practical assistance with routines, well-being, and skill-building
  • Model positive behaviours and foster confidence, resilience, and hope
  • Keep clear, accurate documentation to support progress
  • And most importantly, ensure the people you work with have fun and feel valued!

The right candidate must be available to work weekends, mornings, evenings, awake night and sleepover shifts.

What will Pact offer you?
