Job Description

About the Role

Looking for flexibility, variety, and a role that truly makes a difference?

We have a casual position available with a mix of day, evening, weekend, awake night, and sleepover shifts. Whether you’re after a few shifts a week or something more regular, this is a fantastic way to gain hands-on experience while working around your lifestyle.

You’ll work across different services and meet incredible people—no two days are the same! Plus, there’s potential to move into permanent hours down the track.

What You’ll Do

  • Support people to set and achieve personal goals
  • Encourage participation in daily life and community activities
  • Provide practical assistance with routines, well-being, and skill-building
  • Model positive behaviours and foster confidence, resilience, and hope
  • Keep clear, accurate documentation to support progress
  • And most importantly—make sure the people you support have fun and feel valued!

This is a casual position with a variety of day, evening, weekend, awake night, and sleepover shifts.

  • A genuine passion for helping others grow and succeed
  • A full driver’s licence and basic computer skills
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 4 Health & Wellbeing) or willingness to work toward one
  • The right to work in New Zealand

What will Pact offer you?

At Pact, you’ll be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team who care equally about our staff as we do the people we support. We offer you:

  • In house training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to best support our clients
