Job Description
About the Role
If you’re someone who enjoys a challenge and has experience (professional or lived) supporting people with complex needs—including those with criminal histories, we’d love to hear from you.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident, adaptable, and motivated to support people as they work toward positive change. You will be working with individuals who may be transitioning from corrections settings, navigating probation requirements, or reintegrating into the community. Your ability to build trust, maintain boundaries, and stay calm under pressure will be key to helping people move forward safely and successfully.
The position offers guaranteed stability with 40 hours per week, while giving you variety across your work week. You will need to be available to work a variety of mornings, evenings and weekend shifts.
In this role, you will:
Support people with mental health challenges and justice‑involved backgrounds as they set and achieve personal goals
Encourage participation in daily life, community activities, and pro‑social routines
Provide practical assistance with wellbeing, structure, and skill‑building
Model positive behaviours and support individuals to make safe, constructive decisions
Maintain clear, accurate documentation to support progress and meet service requirements
Foster an environment where people feel respected, valued, and motivated to grow
Desired Skills and Experience
