Job Description

If you are someone who is looking for a rewarding job that allows you to work flexible hours and make an impact, we'd love to hear from you!

We have casual positions available (as and when required) with a variety of day, evening, weekend, awake night, and sleepover shifts. Whether you are after a few shifts a week or something more regular, this role is an excellent opportunity to get some hands-on experience but work when it suits you.

In this role, you will:

  • Support people with disabilities as they set and achieve personal goals
  • Encourage participation in daily life and community activities
  • Provide practical assistance with routines, well-being, and skill-building
  • Model positive behaviors and foster confidence, resilience, and hope
  • Keep clear, accurate documentation to support progress
  • And most importantly, ensure the people you work with have fun and feel valued.

Desired Skills and Experience

What You’ll Bring

Our Lower North Intellectual Disability team is looking for someone with:

  • A positive attitude and calm approach in challenging situations
  • A genuine passion for helping others grow and succeed
  • A full driver’s licence and basic computer skills
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 4 Mental Health) — or willingness to work toward one once you’re on board
  • Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand (If on a work visa, it must be valid for at least 12 months).

At Pact, you’ll be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team that truly cares about the people we support. Submit your CV today and join us in empowering people to live life to the fullest.
